So here it is, my loooong review of 2009... musical-y, people-y and filml-y. Hope you all enjoy reading :)

Ok. So I first heard about this film when one of my told me every single detail about it, and to me, crime sorta action films just are a don't-go. He told me everything. FAIL. But everyone was like "OMFG TAKEN IS SO FECKING AMAZE" so I figured I'd give it a go. True, as I was watching it, I know practically everything that was going to happen. But seriously, this film was so surprising and I was so tense the entire way through. The acting from both are amazing, and it all fits together and it's just an amazing film.
Summary; A daughter who wants to go on holiday with her friends to Paris. Her Dad's unsure at first, but let's her. Being a former spy, he relies on his old skills to save his daughter, who has been taken and forced into the slave trade.

Without. A. Doubt. Favourite film of all time. Seriously. I don't know anyone who doesn't like this film. Everyone who has ever seen it will say it is one of the most powerful portrayal of friendship. I never felt like this film was something I should watch, and I remember seeing snippits of it when I was younger and never understanding it. Until earlier this year I though, that's it, I'm going to watch it. And I did and I've seen it several times since. And it get's me everytime. Watch this film if you've never seen it. There is no question you won't be moved by it.

I'm not into the whole religion thing, I mean, I have a religion, but watching films about it? No thanks. But this one, this is different. This is like, a puzzle, and interesting puzzle. It's one of those films that's like "ooooohhhhhh i get it nowww" at the end. I love those kinds of films :) It was quite early this year since I last saw it so I don't remember much about it, jsut that I was constently intruiged, and it actually made sense (now for me, that's usually very difficult :P)

Admittidly, only saw this film last week, but love it nonetheless. I'm not one for romantic films, but this one is different. It's not a romance, it's not a teenage rom-com, it's just a classic story. I think what I like most about this film is that it's not one of those unrealistic films that you can't relate to AT ALL, and I think the "reality, expectations" scene showed just that. You can watch one of those teenage romance films and feel all happy at the end, but it's not always like it is in those films, and that's what I love about this film.

Yes. Yes. As much as I so desperatly tried to detach myself from the begining-to-become FAIL of the Twilight fandom, you have gotta say that New Moon is one of the better films of 09. It restored my faith in the Twilight fandom, because.. let's fae it, it got so out of hand, and it was an embarassement to be assosiated with it all. Robert Pattinson this, RPattz that, I mean, he's not that hot. But, I'm not here to rant and slag of twilight, I'm here to say that this film has definatly gone into my top films. I love the graphics, JACOB, the characters, and the make up was better, and everything was better about this film.

Ok. Harry Potter. Where do I start? True, this movie wasn't as best as the others, but it's a heck of a good film for every other standard. I literelly sat in the cinema, blown away by the sort of fountain boy magic and power of it all. Harry Potter before the sixth book was just a children's book, sort of plodding along with amazing story lines and literature, then the sixth one comes along and BOOM. You've got darkness, you've got mystery, you've got the seriousness of Harry Potter, and the sixth is where it all kicks in. Bring on Deathly Hallows!

Yes. Beautiful film. I love this type of fantasy films, like I said above, I'm not one for romance, but this is a kind of fairy tale tragedy that just pulls you in. I love both of these characters, and the actor's played them so well and convincingly. If that's a word. It's just such a wonderful film that I only have to recomend because I want you all to see it too.

I'm not even going to try and explain how epic this move is. If you can call it a movie. It's much better. I saw it in 3D. O.M.F.G. And that's basically all I have to say about this movie. The ones who have seen it will agree, and the ones that haven't will soon agree.

Um, yes. This Is It. Ok. Right. Have absolutly NO idea where to start with this one. I just don't think I really have words. I saw it 4 times and thought it was epic every time I saw it. They were going to be fecking legendary.

These are just songs that are, for me, reminders of certain months. Something that when I play takes me back to that month.
Lady Gaga. Of course. I mean, the woman's insane but you gotta admit her music is pretty kick ass. WHERE DID SHE COME FROM?! She just sorta, popped up from out of no where. And she turned into this huge star. And she knew her way around the industry. "Just Dance" to me is her best song (apart from all the others)
OMG. This song is like, the soul. Beyonce's vocals just pwn all. End of.
Ugh. Miley. No thank you. Hannah Montanna and all that lot is just. No. But this song. Oh my lord. Don't you just feel powerful with this song? I remember it was all played at our prom as the last song, and everyone was just crying. But no seriously, <3.
Her voice, at first, drove me INSANE. And I mean, after "Bulletproof", why did she have to sing this song in a ridiculously pitched voice?! But you gotta admit, it's possibly one of the catchiest songs of the year, whether you loved it or hated it.
At first I was like naaaah to the whole rap/rock song. But these 2 have a great album and their music grows on you quite a lot. "Untouched" was one of those songs that I listened to so much over this month, I didn't seem to get tired of it.
Ahhh pixie lott. How awsome is she? She's another gaga, just sprung out of no where with a kick ass song that was like number 1 for ages. And this song was one of those songs that you hated to like. Haha. Well atleast, it was for me..
Ohh my lord. Really I should just remove the "You Rock My World" part and jsut leave it as Michael Jackson. Then possibly erase the "July" part and just put "2009". He did make this year for me, despite it being as a result of his death. All I did was listen to this song on repeat when I went on holiday, and now it just always takes me back to that summer.
DFJGVSDFGFKJB. TUUUUUNE! If you think back to the summer, this song is one of the songs you think about. It was the song of the summer for me. It was all I heard, everyday, and at the time it was out I hated it, now I love it because it reminds me of the summer. :)
This song was just the song for "500 Days of Summer", and it seemed to become an obsession with where I live. This to me is like an autumny song. I lav :D
Oh my lord she's so beautiful in this video. But no, moving aside from the video, her voice. Oh. My. God. Her voice is just like. It's something else. She can reach a ridiculous amount of those higher notes. The only one of the X Factor to carry on and actually become one of those sensations that everyone seems to know.
Ahahahaa I just lol when I hear this song. WTF IS IT!? It's madness. But omfg it's awesome. And I love it.
I know, I know, it's not exactly a song from December, and it's played all the time blah blah but I mean, the song was written like 30 years ago, and you hear it every year and it's one of those timeless songs. It had to be here in the December song :)

I think, if you're going to start anywhere with Audrey Tautou, you need to begin with Amelie. Such a funny film <3. But no seriously, I love Audrey Tautou, ever since I saw her in The Da Vinci Code, she is a wonderful actress and so beautiful.
I reeeeaaaaaally don't know why I like Zooey Deschanel. I think it has a great deal to do with the parts she's played. All of them, anyway, have been wonderful and she has such a sort of 60's look about her that I love <3
Ok. David Tennant. <3 I lav heem :) I first saw him in Harry Potter, and it was then that I thought he was a pretty great actor by the way he played such a creepy character so well. I think it was my brother who told me he was going to be the next "Doctor", but at the time I had like, no idea. Turns out it was this veeeeerrrrrrrry long-running show called Doctor Who, and David was just the 10th version. Anywho I ended up getting pretty much addicted to it this year, and there are really no words how I can describe how much fun he is to watch. In this he is the complete opposite to when he was in Harry Potter - funny, geeky, spontanious. I just love him (:
Well ok, so I only know him from LOST, but I mean come on. That's pretty much enough, don't you think? The character of Jack may annoy me sometimes juuust a leetul bit, but Matthew Fox - you can't really fault him and his acting. The fact that he can annoy me show's he brilliant an actor he is.
Sure sure, she was in Harry Potter and she's one of the main characters but that's not what I like about Emma Watson. I like that, she doesn't want to be assosiated with Harry Potter for the rest of her life, and she's branching out and doing other things. She's going to University in the USA, and she's just begun modelling and she's an actress, yet she's a 19 year old Brit living in a shared flat. I just love what she's doing with her life.
Ok, so I kinda can't describe it in words. So here's a video.
She's just wonderful. My friend met her in real life. bitch. I love the Notebook, and her and whathisface play such amazing parts. Especially after Time Traveler's Wife, I just think she's a fantastic actress.
Michael Jackson. I don't even think it would be an understatement to say that Michael Jackson was, for me, 2009. From June 25th through to start of November, I only listened to his music. The ironic thing is I didn't really like him before June. But, to me, what was special was that the entire world just exploded into a Michael Jackson musical marathon, and everyone came together to just celebrate the legend that was Michael Jackson. It was just too sad that, only after he died did people realise how wonderful and inspiring he was. His music, some 30 years old still sound amazing today and I know for a fact that his music will last forever. R.I.P Michael Jackson.
